Dual Remote Switches for Light and Laser Control

Dual-lead switches are designed to control two compatible devices from a single pad. The SomoGear Dual Remote Pressure Switch is listed with Crane + Crane and Crane + LA23 configurations, making it suitable for selected light, laser and IR illuminator combinations where plug compatibility is confirmed.

Dual switches should be compared by connector type, lead length, button layout, momentary or constant-on function, tactile differentiation and rail mounting method.

AXON-Style Remote Switches

The SomoGear AXON Remote Switch provides separate light and laser controls in a compact thumb-operated housing. Current variants include SureFire, Crane, NGAL / LA23 and 3.5 mm plug combinations with 7-inch and 14-inch cable options.

Choose an AXON-style switch when independent light and laser activation, low-profile ergonomics and direct rail mounting are the main requirements.

Augmented Pressure Switches

The SomoGear Augmented Pressure Switch is a modular two-button control system designed for compatible tactical lights, laser modules and IR devices. It is listed for Picatinny, M-LOK and KeyMod mounting and uses momentary-only activation.

This product should be selected only after confirming the device-side plug and lead compatibility. Mount compatibility alone does not confirm electronic compatibility.

VIS-Override LA23 Switches

The SomoGear VIS-Override LA23 Plug Switch is designed for compatible NGAL / LA23-style laser modules. It provides a dedicated control for the visible override function and includes a Picatinny mount.

VIS-Override switches should be kept separate from general dual pressure switches because they perform a specific function on compatible laser modules.

Connector Compatibility: Crane, LA23, SureFire and 3.5 mm

The most important specification for a remote switch is the connector. A switch with the wrong plug can fail to activate the device, damage the port or create unreliable function.

• Crane plug: commonly used on many laser and IR accessory ports.
• LA23 / NGAL plug: used for selected NGAL / LA23-style devices and VIS-Override functions.
• SureFire plug: used with compatible SureFire-style light tailcaps and adapters.
• 3.5 mm plug: used by selected light or laser accessories where verified.

Momentary Versus Constant-On Activation

Some pressure switches provide momentary activation only, while others support both momentary and constant-on modes. Confirm the activation logic before ordering, especially when one switch controls both a light and a laser module.

Mounting Interfaces and Cable Routing

Remote switches may mount directly to Picatinny / MIL-STD-1913 rails, M-LOK, KeyMod or through an included bracket. Cable length should be selected according to the accessory position, rail space, switch location and cable-management requirements.
