Protect and adapt compatible night vision optics with night vision lens protectors, sacrificial lenses and NVG filters. This collection includes low-profile PVS-14 lens protection, light interference filters, amber eyepiece filters and device-specific protective windows for Jerry night vision and fusion systems.
Compatibility varies according to the device model, optical interface, mounting position and lens diameter. Confirm whether the product is designed for the objective lens, eyepiece or a specific night vision housing before ordering.
A sacrificial lens creates a replaceable protective layer in front of the primary objective lens. It can help reduce direct exposure to dust, dirt, fingerprints, scratches and minor surface impacts during use, transport and storage.
Explore the low-profile PVS-14 sacrificial window, designed for compatible PVS-14-style optics using a 30 mm threaded interface. Its low-profile configuration provides objective-lens protection without adding the size of a complete adjustable aperture assembly.
Compatibility with one PVS-14-style device does not guarantee compatibility with every monocular or binocular. Verify the objective-lens manufacturer, thread diameter and available clearance before installation.
The Jerry-31 sacrificial lens uses a model-specific fitting designed for the Jerry-31 binocular. It provides a protective barrier over the objective optics and is available in single- or paired-lens configurations.
Users fitting protection to a binocular system should confirm whether the selected product price covers one lens or a complete pair.
The PVS-14 Light Interference Filter is designed to reduce selected wavelengths of visible light reaching compatible PVS-14-style optics. A filter may alter brightness, colour balance and light transmission, so it should be selected according to the intended environment and installed only on a supported optical interface.
A light interference filter must not be treated as a guarantee against image intensifier damage. Avoid exposing night vision devices directly to high-intensity light or laser sources, even when a filter is installed.
The night vision amber filter changes the visible colour presented by a compatible green phosphor system towards an amber or yellow tone. Colour preference and viewing comfort are subjective, and the filter may also reduce the amount of visible light reaching the eye.
Confirm whether an amber filter attaches to the eyepiece or another optical interface before ordering. It should not be selected solely by the phosphor colour of the intensifier tube.
A sacrificial lens primarily protects the optical surface, while an adjustable aperture controls the amount of light entering the objective and can increase depth of field when partially closed. Users requiring focus control can browse our night vision apertures and NVG iris devices.
Some aperture systems accept an additional sacrificial window or filter. Always verify the accessory diameter and available retaining interface before combining multiple optical accessories.
The Jerry-FB protective shield combines protective windows for the night vision channels with a separate protective element for the thermal channel. Because this is a device-specific hybrid accessory, it should also be classified within the thermal lens protection collection.
Standard glass or polymer night vision protectors must not be installed over a thermal objective unless the product is specifically designed to transmit the relevant thermal wavelengths.
Before selecting an accessory, confirm:
Browse all night vision accessories, compare replacement night vision lenses and components, or explore complete night vision monoculars and dual-tube night vision systems.
Remove loose particles before wiping an optical surface and use cleaning materials suitable for coated lenses. A sacrificial window is replaceable, but incorrect cleaning, incompatible attachments and excessive installation force can still damage the underlying optics.
