A bridge connects two compatible devices to a single NVG helmet mount. Depending on the selected bridge and adapters, this may include two night vision monoculars, one night vision monocular paired with a thermal device, or two compatible thermal monoculars.
A dual PVS-14 bridge connects two compatible night vision monoculars to create a two-eye helmet-mounted system. Before selecting a bridge, compare the device attachment method, total bridge weight, articulation, interpupillary adjustment and compatibility with the helmet mount.
The Noisefighters Panobridge M1 is an all-metal bridge designed for dual AN/PVS-14 configurations. It provides independent panning adjustment on each side and allows each arm to be mechanically locked at the selected angle.
The Noisefighters Panobridge MK3 provides articulation and adjustable panning for compatible PVS-14 monoculars. It also supports optional arms and adapters for selected thermal and mini-rail devices.
A quick-detach bridge allows compatible devices to be removed independently from the bridge. This can make it easier to move a monocular between bridged, handheld and alternative mounting configurations without dismantling the complete helmet setup.
The Noisefighters QD1 is an all-metal quick-detach bridge with independent articulation and adjustable interpupillary distance. It requires a dovetail-style helmet mount and supports compatible night vision or thermal devices through the appropriate dovetail adapters.
The Falconclaw QDB uses Falconclaw quick-detach adapters and includes articulation and adjustable interpupillary stops. It connects to compatible dovetail helmet mounts and can be configured for selected night vision, thermal or mixed-device combinations.
A hybrid bridge setup combines an image-intensified monocular with a compatible helmet-mounted thermal monocular. Each side of the bridge may require a different device-specific arm, dovetail shoe or mini-rail adapter.
Hybrid systems must be configured around the exact device interfaces. Differences in display position, optical centreline, eye relief, device weight and mounting height can affect alignment and viewing comfort.
The fore-aft adjustable thermal dovetail is intended for selected devices such as the NOX18, MH25, RH25, StingIR and STRIDE ST6. Verify the exact device generation and mounting interface before ordering.
The Noisefighters QD Dovetail Adapter connects supported thermal monoculars to compatible Noisefighters bridge systems.
Selected thermal and night vision monoculars use a mini-rail interface rather than a PVS-14 threaded mounting point or integrated dovetail. The Panobridge MK3 Mini-Rail Arm provides a device-side interface for supported mini-rail monoculars.
A mini-rail arm should not be selected solely because a product is described as helmet mountable. Confirm the rail dimensions, bridge generation, arm orientation and device model.
A fixed bridge keeps both optical channels in a conventional forward-facing position. A panning bridge allows the monoculars to be angled outward, increasing peripheral coverage at the cost of reducing the central overlap between the two intensified images.
The Panobridge M1 and MK3 support adjustable panning, while the QD1 prioritises quick detachment, articulation and conventional parallel device alignment rather than an adjustable-field-of-view mechanism.
Articulation allows each monocular to rotate independently away from the eye or towards the helmet when stowed. Interpupillary adjustment positions the two optical channels according to the distance between the user’s eyes.
When comparing bridges, confirm whether the system includes adjustable IPD stops, independent arm movement, panning-angle locks and sufficient fore-and-aft adjustment for the selected devices.
Most bridges in this collection require a compatible dovetail night vision helmet mount. They are not designed to connect directly to a traditional bayonet mount without an approved conversion interface.
Before ordering, confirm the complete mounting chain:
Two independently assembled monoculars may require optical alignment checks before being used as a binocular system. The bridge centres the devices mechanically, but it does not automatically confirm that the intensified images are correctly aligned for comfortable two-eye viewing.
Confirm device alignment, secure attachment and full dovetail engagement before use. Do not overtighten threaded monocular mounts or adapter screws, as this can damage the device housing or mounting interface.
