The SomoGear PEQ-2A Retro Build IR Laser Illuminator is a classic tactical device inspired by the original military PEQ-2A design, widely recognized for its use with night vision goggles (NVG). Designed for airsoft, milsim, and retro tactical setups, this unit combines a zeroable IR aiming laser with a focusable IR illuminator, allowing precise targeting and improved visibility in low-light environments.

Constructed from durable polyamide reinforced with floating fiber, the PEQ-2A Retro Build offers reliable performance while maintaining a lightweight and compact design. The adjustable IR illuminator features a rotating focus ring with 288° rotation, allowing the beam to be adjusted from spot to flood depending on operational requirements.

With automatic 5-minute power-off protection, the device helps preserve battery life if left on unintentionally, especially since infrared light is invisible to the naked eye. Compatible with all generations of night vision devices, this retro-style laser module is ideal for realistic airsoft builds and training scenarios.
