The Tier None PVS-14 Camera Adapter creates a direct mechanical and optical connection between a compatible PVS-14 eyepiece and camera lens. This eliminates the need to manually hold a camera behind the night vision eyepiece and provides a more stable platform for capturing night vision images and video.

The direct-mount design keeps the distance between the PVS-14 eyepiece and camera lens as short as possible. This helps maintain optical alignment while reducing unwanted external light entering between the night vision device and camera lens.

Full eyepiece diopter adjustment is retained after installation, allowing the night vision image to be precisely focused for the camera.

DSLR, Mirrorless & Cinema Camera Compatibility

The Tier None NVG Camera Adapter is available in multiple camera lens thread sizes, allowing it to be used across a wide range of DSLR, mirrorless and cinema camera lenses.

Not sure which adapter size you need? Look at the front of your camera lens for the number next to the Ø symbol. This number indicates the lens filter thread diameter and should correspond to the adapter size required for your camera lens.

For full-frame cameras, approximately 28mm provides an excellent starting point. APS-C, cinema and medium-format camera systems may require different focal lengths depending on sensor dimensions and the specific lens configuration.

Experimenting within the recommended focal-length range can help achieve the preferred balance between field of view, image coverage and vignetting for a particular camera setup.

Compatibility Limitations

Installation

DO NOT overtighten the adapter. Excessive tightening can cause the adapter ring to bind against the camera lens.

For easier installation, attach the night vision device to the adapter ring first. Once the NVG is correctly installed, attach the adapter assembly to the camera lens. This installation sequence helps reduce the likelihood of the adapter ring becoming excessively tight on the camera lens.
