The UAPNVG "Chimera" represents the next evolution in panoramic night vision goggles, being the first articulating quad-tube NVG. This patent-pending design offers an ultralight, low-profile system by allowing each optical pod to stow rearward toward the helmet, mimicking the profile of traditional articulating binoculars. By shifting the center of gravity closer to the neck’s natural pivot point, it significantly reduces neck fatigue during extended operations, airsoft, milsim simulations, or tactical training.

Each UAPNVG pod can be stowed individually without fully folding the system. This feature allows users to clear doorways, increase head clearance in vehicles, maintain rapid access to night vision, enter and exit vehicles faster, reduce brush snag hazards, and operate weapon-mounted optics or thermal devices simultaneously. Additionally, the Chimera’s bridge system is user-level plug-and-play, compatible with existing panoramic NVG pods including L3 GPNVG18, Lindu QTNVG, ANVIS10, Photonis PD Pro-Q, and more.
