The Falconclaw ICOM 2-Pin PTT Cable is a lightweight 50cm radio downlead designed to connect the Falconclaw PTT to compatible ICOM radios using the ICOM 2-pin S-series connector. The modular cable system allows users to adapt their Falconclaw PTT to different compatible radio platforms without replacing the complete push-to-talk unit.

Designed specifically for compatible ICOM radios, this cable uses the ICOM 2-pin electrical configuration. Although the connector can appear similar to a Kenwood 2-pin connector, ICOM and Kenwood 2-pin cables are electrically different and are not interchangeable.

Measuring 50cm (19.68in) and weighing only 20g, the Falconclaw ICOM downlead provides a compact connection between your compatible radio and Falconclaw PTT. It is suitable for selected ICOM F, H, J, M and U-series radios, as well as compatible Cobra and Ritron series radios.

ICOM 2-Pin S-Series Connector

The Falconclaw ICOM PTT Cable terminates in an ICOM 2-pin S-series connector. This interface is used by a range of compatible ICOM handheld radios and provides the radio-side connection for the Falconclaw PTT system.

The modular design means the downlead can be changed independently of the PTT, allowing the same Falconclaw communication platform to be adapted to another compatible radio by installing the appropriate radio cable.

ICOM vs Kenwood 2-Pin Compatibility

Important: the ICOM 2-pin connector can look similar to a Kenwood 2-pin radio connector, but the two systems are electrically different and are not interchangeable. If your radio uses a Kenwood 2-pin interface, the appropriate Falconclaw Kenwood cable should be used instead.

ICOM radios equipped with a 14-pin side accessory connector also require a different Falconclaw ICOM 14-pin downlead. Always confirm the exact radio model and connector before ordering.
